Equipment returned, still asked to pay for it.

Hi,

I've returned my TalkTalk equipment. However, I'm still told I must pay a £50 charge. I returned the router using an old TalkTalk returns bag, but I was sent another one in the post after I'd already sent the router back. I'm assuming TalkTalk are expecting the equipment in the bag they sent and haven't realised they already have it. I have proof of postage. Can someone please get this sorted for me? I'm fed up with being threatened with collection agency intervention.

I don't think we understood that you had already been contacted by a debt collection agency, @NicolaT.

 

This probably means it's a little more complicated in the chain of communication, making sure that the debt collection agency is taken off your back, not just Arne clearing the charge.

The charge is still on my account and I still have “moorcroft debt recovery” contacting me. Their reference number is 007832592319.

 

You clearly haven’t done as you said and I’m starting to get extremely irritated. Sort this out!

They are just having one of their "phases" in that department, @NicolaT.

 

Arne will make sure that you are not charged.
