Final bill not issued

I migrated away to Sky on 28th November, I expected my final bill would follow shortly but it hasn't done. My account also doesn't seem to show that my service has ended. A bill was apparently generated on 7th December but I can't access it, and my account when I log in shows that my usual amount is outstanding and needs to be paid. I've also not received any email asking me to send back equipment. When should I expect to receive my actual final bill?

That bill was produced to show the refund and the final zero balance.

Getting one for £0.00 means it should be safe to remove your DD details now, @underneonlights.

Thanks both of you for your replies. I appreciate the point about accessing old bills, I'm still not sure why a new bill was created at all on 7th February if my account is closed?

My Account is kept available for at least 12 months, @underneonlights.

This is in case customers need to check back through the information in earlier bills after they leave.

You can try to follow the GDPR route:

Or use a different email address if you ever come back to Talktalk. Even if you don't change the email address, the issue is not insurmountable if notified at the time of your return.

The account is fully cancelled, the online account remains open for 12 months in case you want to view old bills.

Hello again. To update the situation, my account is now at zero after I asked for a refund of the balance but it has still not been properly closed. The recent issued bill was also for £0 but the package is still listed as the previous package that I had. I would like the account to be fully closed in case it causes issues should I want to migrate back at some point. Please could you chase up the matter with the provisioning team?

I still haven't received any further information from the provisioning team, and I still have the regular monthly amount showing as outstanding when I log in. How long will it be before I hear from them?
