So I switched provider in May due to very very poor connectivity for around 8 whole months, received my cancellation fee (£215) which TalkTalk are unwilling to lower despite them having to arrange close to 6 or so BT OpenReach engineers out to fix my connection during that time and all evidence showing a significant drop during those 8 months. After working some things out I decided to just roll with it and put the full cancellation fee on to my account and wait for the final bill to arrive, YET, not received it yet despite being with my new provider since May. I'm still receiving email Bills stating "Nothing to Pay this Month" but not "This is your Final Bill" or something like that. In all honesty I just want this large cancellation fee and TalkTalk behind me to start anew but it seems to be taking forever and the last thing I want is for that money on my account to "mysteriously disappear" for no reason and then I'd owe even more money.
Any help on this matter would be appreciated. Did try talking to someone in billing the other day but they didn't understand any of the above, they thought I want to cancel by cancellation which is not what I want. Just wanted to know when the cancellation fee will be taken and my account closed.
