I have an active direct debit for talk talk showing on my online banking, last payment taken 31/12/24 however talktalk are saying I have no direct debit in place and that I have an overdue payment since 30/01.
I have since made a payment by card to clear the overdue amount and will re-set up the DDR they claim is cancelled but will I be charged a £12.50 admin fee?
I migrated over from Shell and cancelled an old Shell direct debit but the talk talk one is very much still active within my online banking.

Can you actually see the correct banking details already in your Talktalk My Account though, @Stacey_louise1188?
Online banking will always show the last payment taken, so December's in this case, if you haven't cancelled the DD through the bank itself. That doesn't mean it's still active.
Everything to do with Ex Shell customers still needs to be dealt with through the Shell Migration team though forum staff should be able to clarify the late payment charge and whether the glitch occurred through a problem at Talktalk's end.
