Linking two accounts

Many years ago we had account with Tiscali and the family all had tiscali email addresss, which they all still use.  We then moved away from Tiscali, and several years ago started being charged £50 a year by Talk Talk to keep the email addresses valid.

Last year we came back to Talk Talk for our Broadbank (Big mistake - but thats another whole topic) and I need to be link the two account numbers so that I am not charged next week for the £50 as I feel that now I am back being a TalkTalk customer, this charge shouldn't apply.

Customer services only say that they will delete the account number the £50 comes out of, but I am reluctant to do this, in case that these also deletes the validilty of the email addresses.  My husband uses his tiscali email address for his business and can't afford to lose access to this.

Can anyone help me with this.  Its only £50, but I would prefer not to have to pay.

@JenBale, staff may be able to move the addresses across from the old account into the new account but they have to do this manually. Then Mailplus will be redundant. 

 

If you take another look at Personal Information, further down there's an area for private notes. List all the email addresses in there and then scroll down further to SAVE CHANGES. 

 

How soon is the £50.00 due? If it's too close to the direct debit date they will take the money, but you are supposed to be able to cancel Mailplus any time, so there must be a pro rata refund if the transfer of the email addresses doesn't get done immediately.

Hi @JenBale I have no idea how this will work out for you, but your post has been escalated and you should hear soon.  In the meantime please check your community profile and add your landline number and/or account number so your account can be identified. Please don't post personal information here.

The team don't  work weekends so it will be Monday at the earliest.
