I am about to complete on a new property but there will be a few months until my present house sells so I will be using two properties for a while They are about 100 miles apart. What is the cheapest way to get basic services to the new property (mainly broadband) while keeping my present contract running at my main residence until I move?
Will I get charged for breaking the present contract early?

Hi Prastio
Its not possible to overlap contracts , the new property will need a new line installed and a new account.
Sorry

You need to check whether Talktalk can supply Broadband at the new property, @Prastio - they don't cover absolutely everywhere.
You can use the Home Move team - £60 if you simply move the service, but that gets waived if you take out a new contract (it might not be the same package, depending on speeds on the line etc).
But this would be done IN SEQUENCE. Cut off at old address then set up in new house.
If you want to have two services going at once, your new house will have a separate My Account and at some stage you'll have to give notice to close the old service. If you are not currently out of contract, there'll be early termination fees to pay for ceasing the service at the old address.
That's why people normally do this in sequence... avoids extra costs etc.
You'd have to cancel by phoning 03451 720088.
