Never received a gift card for a new contract?

I signed for a new TalkTalk contract on the 20th November 2024 with the offer of a £70 gift card. I never received this promised gift card. Please could a TalkTalk staff member look into this?

I spoke to TalkTalk online chat today and they arranged for the £70 to be sent to my account for credit and if I wished I could get this refund paid into my bank through My Account - Billing Section - Click on the credit balance -  Select ‘Request Refund.

 

Although these options don't appear to be available on my account.

 

Please could someone advise on how to obtain a refund through "My Account"?

Checking back on my chat transcript for my new contract. The contract offer was for an Amazon £70.00 credit, no mention of a gift voucher or the third party company Gift Cloud being involved.

Is an Amazon £70.00 credit the same as a gift voucher from Gift Cloud?

Who issued the voucher?

I have contacted Gift Cloud who are stating that the problem is with TalkTalk and that I should contact TalkTalk.

My new contract is with TalkTalk and not a third party company of which I have no knowledge of when the contract was agreed upon.

I contacted GiftCloud like suggested, and I was informed that I should talk to TalkTalk directly over this matter.

I believe the responsibility is with TalkTalk who arranged the details of the new contract and there was no mention of another third party being involved with issuing the voucher.

Please advise me if the promised voucher can be issued again?

I never received the voucher on the 4th January and I have checked my spam folders and nothing received.

 

Can the voucher be re-issued or please advise on how I should proceed?
