Hi I know the main article says you are not issuing as many return labels as before, but how do I know if I'm exempt to return the equipment and won't be charged or if it's a mistake that a return package wasn't sent to me? I just don't want to be charged £50 in the future for not receiving a return bag and not knowing.

Yeah nothing so far. I just hope they don't come up with a £50 charge out of nowhere as I've never received a returns bag and no attention to my query.
And it's not about a queue as I've seen them responding to queries that were posted after mine.
