As usual, horrific customer service from TalkTalk - have swapped to a much better value for money provider and still being charged last month for talktalk internet and phone service - having been passed from dept to dept for 1 hr and 40 mins finally able to submit a complaint but not able to automatically process refund!!!! No wonder we swapped to another provider!!!

I cant see any request to cancel the service the account is still showing as active.

Staff will be back on Monday and can take a look at what happened with the billing after you cancelled, @bunnychick.
As Talktalk charges a full month ahead, it can take a while to balance the books and receive a final bill for £0.00.
Any refund due will be sent to your My Account - they have no way to send a refund directly to your bank account. You then claim your refund back from My Account using the same details that should still be in place from your Direct Debit information.
