I created a talktalk acount to get a cheaper service. My original bill was £60.00, but this was reduced to around £24.00 when I joined. But I'm still being charged £60.00.

Hi @Benson16

The renewal is showing as rejected, so as an ex shell customer you will need to call us (03451720088 )and ask to speak to the Shell migration team, a new renewal will need to be placed at the earlier agreed price and a refund organized for the difference in price.

Sorry

I've found your original thread,  @Benson16.

It's here:

https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/Billing/Ending-my-contract/td-p/3071838

So who did you speak to? Was it the Shell Migration team or the LOYALTY team and was it phone / chat....?

We really need fuller information to make headway.

From the 29th of March our TalkTalk Community will move to peer-to-peer support and the TalkTalk team will no longer be here to support with queries. Don’t worry we still have plenty of ways to reach out if you need to speak to TalkTalk directly. For more details check out the link in the post at the top of any forum message board.

Creating an account doesn't of itself save money, other than choosing not to have paper bills, so viewing your bill online instead saves £2.75.

Other than that, if you are out of contract you'll have a rolling monthly bill.

If you are in contract, the main service is discounted, and you may be lucky and get discounts on boosts / TV charge etc.

Did you think you had renewed, @Benson16?

If so, how did you go about it?

Did you get any email confirmation and contract documents?
