I have called and used live chat a number of times to cancel my account. I’ve received an email today asking about direct debits. I don’t have a lot of faith in TalkTalk as an organisation so I need an email stating the account is cancelled.

Name

Telephone number or account number.

There isn't one that you can deal with directly, other than complaints and that is not particularly effective and somewhat protracted, honestly. Your best option is as I have suggested. Fill in your details and the support team can help.

I have moved this to the Billing section for you where the support team can check. Make sure that your personal details including TalkTalk phone number and/or account number are complete on your community profile (click here) so that they can link your forum identity with your account and then wait for them to respond.
