Unfair engineer visit charge

Talktalk sent me a new 4K box to replace a faulty one. When it came to setting up the box the instruction card told me to press the SOURCE button on the enclosed remote control. There is no SOURCE button on the 4K remote control so I was unable to proceed. I contacted Live Chat and the operator there was unable to tell me how to proceed and proceeded to arrange an engineer appointment, not at my request.
The engineer attended and set up the box.
Talktalk have now charged me £75 for an engineer visit that was not requested by me. They stated that the engineer deemed that the fault lay within my property. The only equipment within my property was the brand new Talktalk box and accessories to allow it to be set up.
Surely this charge to me is wrong.
I have been with Talktalk continuously for over 40 years but if this charge is levied I shall, at the age of 85, be voting with my feet when my present contract finishes.
Date of my contact with Live Chat is 8th June and engineer visited on 11 th June.

I'll move this to billing for you, @Dave63.
Staff will respond during the week.
