why have I had a text asking me to pay my bill when my account is up to date with payments.
I payed£30.89 on 1/9/2024 to clear the bill after the transfer from Shell.

Are you able to register for My Account https://www.talktalk.co.uk/login/ you account is showing as in credit.

Moving this to the billing section, @RogerFrench, as it has nothing to do with email issues.
On the billing board, you should see a notice from Talktalk staff about the issue with recent Shell Direct Debit payments.
Customers are required to make a one off card payment if Talktalk could not process the DD in time.
If you have already paid, check that Talktalk has recorded the one-off payment.
