2.4 GHz band 'DOWN'

I have enabled the 2.4 GHZ band on my router today for the first time. I am a new customer and received the router about 2 weeks ago. The router status shows the band as "DOWN" and it is not visible to devices. The band has a different SSID to the 5 GHz and is on a different channel (11 vs 44). Is this a hardware issue ?

Thanks

Thanks to all who replied. This is working ok now, the router just seemed to need a bit of time to sort itself out.

Hi Elephants_breath

Thanks for your reply.

If you are still experiencing this issue following the factory reset then please let us know and we can send a replacement router for testing.

Thanks

What make/model of router do you have? It sounds like the first thing to do is to try a factory reset of the router's configuration.

From the 29th of March our TalkTalk Community will move to peer-to-peer support and the TalkTalk team will no longer be here to support with queries. Don’t worry we still have plenty of ways to reach out if you need to speak to TalkTalk directly. For more details check out the link here How to contact TalkTalk Broadband - TalkTalk Help & Support
