5ghz Channel Hopping initiated/Manually initiated

Hi

 

I have certain devices that can only make use of the 5ghz signal at channel 100 or above.

 

when setting the channel to 100 the router keeps on moving it back to channel 44 after a short amount of time (sometimes mins, sometimes an hour or 2) as per router log

At this point my device connected stop working.

 

If I have the option of overriding the channel why does the router keeping changing it, most frustrating.

I can switch the WIFI optimisation off so you can select your own wireless channel.

 

Please can you add your name and TalkTalk landline number to your Community Profile, I can then take a look at this for you.
