i have issue currently with broadband that keeps dropping out. Been intermittent now for about 4 days. Router did generally reboot itself but now periods of outage are becoming longer. Switching off and on and inseating cabling from sockets/phone lines is not unfortunately remedying issue. Please could this be investigated asap

For all support issues, @Rsy71, please start your own thread. The other customer's thread gets confused by multiple people jumping on.

You need to return to the message board and click on start a topic for your own case to receive staff attention.

Hi, I am having the same problem my router most days drops out for few seconds,  some times it does it 3 or 4 times in a row,  very annoying.

Hi

Line tests are showing a possible issue with the copper side of the line.  I've logged this to Openreach to take a look.

Thanks

Karl.

Thanks, I’ll update profile now. Have established connection again but it does appear I have a fault either with line or router possibly.

Then it is a fault, possibly with the router, but more likely with the line. I have asked one of TalkTalk's support to pick your thread up and investigate it for you.

They aim to respond within 48 hours (Monday - Friday) excluding Bank Holidays, but if more urgent you can always try the Service Centre on 0345 172 0088. The posts are responded to in time/date order, oldest first.

To save yourself time, please make sure that your community profile includes your first & last names, broadband phone number & if possible an alternative contact number. This can be done by clicking on your Avatar picture and then clicking on "My Settings" followed by:-

Personal Profile > Personal Information

Otherwise, TalkTalk will not be able to tie up your forum username to your broadband account. Only you & TalkTalk have visibility of your details.

There is only one router known to keep rebooting, which is the Huawei DG8041W, which one do you have?
