Broadband package upgrade on renewal

Hi all,

 

I got a reminder prior to my Broadband renewal date on 14/09 this year that I can upgrade to Fiber 65, it said to click a link and confirm the change and that I would receive an email to confirm the package has changed for my renewal date.

 

I'm conscious as the renewal date is in 2 days, I haven't heard anything from TalkTalk by email. Will I just be using the same router and will the change be seamless?

 

I have logged into my account and it does say I'm now on Fiber 65 until year 2025 but just want to double check if there's anything else I need to do to confirm it?

Hi CallumRanger.

 

Just to confirm your new contract started 05/09/2023,  (18 months)

Your current router is compatible with the new Fibre 65 package.

The renewal starts from when you agree to it - sounds as though you have succeeded, as this is showing on your My Account. 

 

However, you should have received contract documents  - check your SPAM folder.

 

You won't receive a new router if your current one works perfectly well, @CallumRanger.

 

Do run a speed test via My Connection (from the Service Status Dashboard pages).
