I've just tried accessing the admin pages on my router to find it is giving a:
"Communication error with the gateway" error.
I've tried rebooting the router - no change in behavior. I'm also sure I'm using the correct credentials.
The system seemed to fine before so this seems to be new. Any suggestions? A bug in the new firmware? Or a failing piece of hardware...?
P.S. How do you actually connect to TalkTalk via chat to be able to talk to a person these days rather than just forums...?

Have you tried factory resetting the router and then re-setting this up again?

Some further notes/digging. This is for a
TalkTalk Wi-Fi Hub version SG4K100130
Additionally, if I use the IP to access the device this works, however, if I use a DNS entry pointing to the same IP, this seems to be when things fail. It feels like an incorrect host configuration on the web interface to the router maybe?
