Hi if I was to make payment today will my broadband go straight back on ? Or does it take a few days ?

Restrictions can take a minimum of 2 hours, maximum of 24 hours to remove once the payment clears.

@Millwallmad1968, if your services were simply restricted, rather than disconnected, you should be back up by tomorrow.

Sometimes switching off the router for 30 minutes is enough to restore the service after they have processed everything:
If you were totally disconnected, it takes longer to get set up again.

There are no staff members here until Monday.
I doubt it's immediate as if it's been cut off, Openreach will need to visit to restore the connection.
You'd be best to phone today (phones are not on Sunday unless you are a vulnerable customer) and find out.
