DG8041w kernel panic

Hi just lost 2.5 hrs with support I will never get back. 

My broadband DG8041w router keeps random resetting. I have identified from the user log its Kernel Panic and understand a firmware update fixes it. Is this correct and how do i get it.

I have just checked the router log and there have been no alarms since the firmware update and everything seems stable, My cloud based energy and heating system has not needed rebooting today and Alexa hasn't said "Something went Wrong" so fingers crossed
