We have an old Wansview camera that stopped working when we switched to TalkTalk. Thinking the unit itself was broken we’ve bought a newer model but this also won’t connect. They get IP addresses and I can browse to them on port 80 (albeit forbidden page). The cameras won’t connect to the Wansview cloud servers.

All working now, thanks for checking.

It doesn’t have settings in Eero to configure that detail but assuming guest defaults to 2.4ghz.

Well done your wife! @jlscott77 wish mine could follow her example😊
Has she only enabled 2.4 ghz on the guest network?

My wife’s managed to get them working by turning on and putting them on the guest network.

@jlscott77 I wonder if a different dns might be worth a try? Using 3rd Party DNS

Tried but unfortunately no good. I can see they’re on 2.4Ghz. And they also respond to pings and default http / port 80 traffic. So local network is fine. That leads me to suspect some sort of filtering to wherever Wansview cloud is hosted.

Hi @jlscott77 do you have mesh WiFi? Could be the cameras only work on 2.4 ghz. Worth disabling the 5ghz for an afternoon and seeing how the cameras get on.
