Hi,
I have been paying for Fibre65, I have been offered renewal for Super Fast fibre but alas my connection is apparently copper. I was told this on Saturday by the guys pulling the fibre cables under the pavement. Connection to the house should follow shortly. Am I owed a rebate for being charged for a service which I have not received ?

Hi 02476
Not sure i understand your logic, full fibre is not available yet, but is clearly being prepped in your area, you have fibre 65 FTTC so that is what we are suppling to you and charging you for.
You don't automatically get switched to full fibre (FTTP) if they are only doing the dig work now it will probably be next year before its available.
Regards

What you currently have is FTTC Fibre To The Cabinet, which as the name suggests, fibre up to your local cabinet. From there it uses copper cables from that cabinet to your house. This has been marketed as Super Fast Fibre. Therefore you have the service that you are paying for.
The service currently being installed in your road, from what you say, is fibre directly to your house & is marketed as Full Fibre.
