Which Talktalk routers offer a guest account?
I need a new router. My D-link DSL 3780 running on Fast Broadband does not have a guest account which I am wanting to separate some remote cameras from my main computer. Do the Wi-Fi Hub, Eero and Eero6 on the fibre bundles all have a guest account option. Many thanks

You do not have to change the Wi-Fi name or password , that is personal preference if you do. I change mine so it's easy to remember when setting up devices, but you don't have to.
Again, with the router login, it's best to keep this as admin, the password itself is on the back of the router under the Wi-Fi card, and is unique to the router, so unless someone has physical access to the router, there is no need to change it, but if you do, and you forget it, you will have to factory reset the router to gain access. so write it down and keep it safe.
If you set up a guest Wi-Fi for friends / family when they visit, you can find useful resources on the web such as qifi.org that can generate a QR code they can scan with their devices to give then Wi-Fi access.

Thank you, the Wi-Fi hub came today. There are no instructions for setting up a guest account and whether there are any pitfalls. When signing into the router dashboard what things are advisable to change for security reasons. On my old D link router it was not possible to change the router username only the password. Is this the same situation? Should I also change the network name and wifi password?

There is a guest option for the Wi-Fi hub. The D-Link 3780 is quite old, we have not provided those for a few years now.
