Hi

We've recently had internet traffic freezing twice with only cure being complete router reboot (Oct 28th 22:42 & today 09:21)

Wifi stays up ok, can ping internally ok, just nothing from outside. Works again fine following router reboot.

Any chance TT can run diags on our router please in case it's due a firmware upgrade? Router is:

Manufacturer:Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd;
ProductClass:DG8041W;
HWVer:I.1.01;
SWVer:v1.06t;

Many Thanks

Thanks for sending through a Sagemcom router ... its admin portal fits properly on my phone (unlike the Huawei) and sustsined speed/throughput is impressive!

I'll be returning the old router asap.

Many Thanks!

Hi JH1551JH

I'm really sorry for the delay.

The router is on its way, please allow 24-48hrs for this to arrive.

Let us know how the connection compares with this router.

Thanks

Debbie

Morning,

I'm sorry to hear this. I've run a test on the line now which hasn't detected a fault. Would you like us to send a replacement router for testing purposes to rule this out? We would also send a router returns bag so that one of the routers can be returned.

Thanks

Hi @JH1551JH,

v1.05t is the latest generally released firmware, I see you posted earlier in the year about a problem you were having, and that was fixed by upgrading your router to v1.06t (which has the fix for the kernel panic errors). But the support team here should be able to take a look at this tomorrow.
