Usual external ip address problem, Day 5 no Internet. Two hour long live chats, one half hour to a real person. Still no Internet. No good with people working from home. Will report everyday as that is what is recommended by ofcom when it comes to money repayable.

@Robert143, it might get resolved more quickly if you complete your community forum profile details. 

 

Having said that, staff will not be back on here before Monday now. 

 

Still worth sorting out your profile. Glad that the compensation information was useful.

Thank you for that.

Day eight and no Internet.

Engineer failed to turn up.

10 hours on calls to live chat and customer service. Still same ip address fault. The info on compensation is useful looking like 9.98 for 28 days will be the final refund.

@Robert143,

 

It will be helpful to follow up on here, but you don't really need to post an update every day as staff will be able to keep track of the issue for you.

 

The automatic compensation is calculated after the issue and shows up to 30 days after that time.

See the Complaints link at the foot of the page for which organisations actually follow up if there's no satisfactory resolution  - rather than Ofcom.

 

For staff to identify your account and follow up on here, please complete your community forum profile. Go via your avatar; settings. Add your Talktalk phone number or account number in Personal Information. SAVE CHANGES.
