Router upgrade

Hi
Just received an email about my router being no longer supported. Can I be supplied with a router that is supported because I am not happy at no longer getting security updates. I have been a customer since talktalk began and had my current router for many years. Recently I have been having to restart it because of connection problems and I suspect, having received the email, that lack of updates may be the cause.

Hi Lang+g,
As you are experiencing problems with your service I've ordered another router to test with, it should be with you within a couple of working days

I have asked one of TalkTalk's support to pick your thread up and replace it for you with a Sagemcom.
They aim to respond within 48 hours (Monday - Friday) excluding Bank Holidays, but if more urgent you can always try the Service Centre on 0345 172 0088. The posts are responded to in time/date order, oldest first.

That shouldn't be a problem, which make/model of router do you have currently?
