My phone wasn’t connecting to the WiFi (my husbands was and all other devices in the house were working fine) despite me turning the phone on and off and forgetting/rejoining the WiFi. We decided to turn the router off and on again and now it won’t connect to the internet (alternating between flashing orange and white light, flashing orange, solid orange and then no light at all). It has been nearly an hour of this, not sure what to do. Have even tried resetting it, turning off at wall for 1 minute, etc. with nothing working.

Hi there, I’ve done everything you’ve said with no result unfortunately! Do you know what steps I would take next? Do you recon it may have something to do with the router itself?

I’ve turned it off for 20 mins as instructed by the bot I spoke to but it didn’t work, have done the factory reset too which hasn’t worked. I will try now to turn off for at least 30 mins and will see if that works. Thank you.

Try turning the router off for at least 30 minutes, which will start a new session.
If that does not work, put a pin in the pinhole on the back of the router which will hopefully reset the router to factory settings. Note, if you have set your own wifi password or admin password, these will reset to the values on the back of the router.
Let us know how you get on.
