Hello hope you can help i have recently recieved a new router and have set it up the same as my last. The problem am having is that i can not set up a port forward which is needed to access some stuff within my house like cameras and such.
Is this an issue with firmware as i had no issue doing it with my old router which was the same type
any help would be much apreciated

This is an existing bug from at least V136 or maybe earlier, which was never fixed in V158. It is supposed to be fixed in a newer, yet to be released version.

Thank you for letting me know about the firmware update.. I can see the router has been updated in the past 12 hours yet the port forwarding still isnt working for me was there something else i needed to do?

Our Devices Team have advised that updates on the firmware should now be available within the next 2 weeks.
We are currently still experiencing issues updating the router firmware.

I'm really sorry but it wont let me send the different router.
Our Devices Team have assured me that they are working to fix the issue with the firmware updates and new firmware is coming very soon.
We should have further updates by the end of the week.

Thanks for that they probably wont as i just got this router with v3 hardware as a replacement for the last one that got briocked due to a bad firmware flash.
will just have to wait i gues

It is a case of waiting for the next firmware release or asking TalkTalk to replace it for a 5364 running V4 hardware.

I though as much so is there anything that can be done or do i have to wait for another firmware update. as the last update on my old router bricked it.

That is a known issue with the last two firmware releases & hardware version 3.00. This is currently under investigation. It is not a problem with V4.00 hardware.
