I'm on Fibre35 'guaranteed' to get min 21Mb/s download., actually getting 12.

Ran the online diagnostics to no avail.

Currently paying more than £30 a month for 12 Mb/s - why am I not getting what TT guarantee.

I should add that I was getting around 20 when I first switched to Fibre35 - it's a degradation of TT service over time.

OK thanks. Could you disconnect your telephone and then reboot your router and check to see if the speed improves?

Hi GrahamW,

How many telephone sockets do you have? Do you have anything connected to your telephone socket(s) in addition to your router and one telephone?

Morning,

I'm sorry for the delay. It's possible that DLM may continue to increase the speed if the connection remains stable. What does your predicted speed range show as if you log into Service Centre?

Thanks

I'm assuming you mean 18Mbps downstream?

Is this the sync speed you are looking at in the router's DSL stats or download throughput speed via a speedtest?

If it's speed test, how does it compare to the router sync speed and how do wired and wireless speed tests compare? that might help to diagnose where the problem lies.

Staff will not be back before Monday, @GrahamW.

Support can be reached at 03451 720088 or using Chat:

However it could be worth waiting 48 hours to see if the download speed improves with this new router.
