I cannot connect to my employers VPN via my home TalkTalk router ; colleagues have also had this problem on TalkTalk and the fix has been a firmware update on the router - how do i do this?

I have successfully connected connected to the VPN using a 3 MiFi dongle at home so I am certain the problem is with the TalkTalk router

Thanks for updating your Community Profile.

 

I will need to make a change to your router firmware. When would be the best time to do this?

 

We advise to leave the router switched on without being rebooted whilst we update the FW. This should take no longer than 15 minutes.
