Was onhold for 3 hours

Trying to cancel my broadband. Got transferred to customer service departments around 2 hours and 40 mins ago. The hold music has stopped and I can hear what sounds like breathing but nobody responds when I say hello. So likely, nobody has picked up as the call hasn't hung up yet. I tried the live chat, but the agent has stopped responding and my messages won't send. How am I supposed to cancel and get help when nobody in the customer service department answers their phone and the live chat person stops replying?

Ive checked your account and the cancellation was placed 1-Feb-2022 16:03. to complete 3rd March
Im sorry that they kept you on hold the call should have ended.

Update - the call hung up at 3 hours 4 mins, nobody answered. This is ridiculous!
