Hello, it has been more than a month since I moved to this house. The landlord said he was going to cancel the Internet. I would like to know how long it will take for the Internet to expire?

Hi JinglingXu

For data protection reasons we cant discuss someone else's account with a non account holder, Your landlord will need to call us on  03451720088  to discuss the cancellation.

The landlord should contact Talktalk or post in their own right on this thread, @JinglingXu.

Talktalk can only confirm information for the account holder, not you as a third party.

If Talktalk has not correctly processed the cancellation, staff can look into this - if the landlord was out of contract, they would need to have given Talktalk 30 days' notice.

A line can cease sooner, if a new order has been received, so that the landlord receives an alert to confirm leaving or staying.

Or you can arrange with the landlord to become the new account holder, if you are wanting to be a Talktalk customer, @JinglingXu.

Details of how to become the account holder:

One way or another, you need to liaise with the landlord and they need to confirm all with Talktalk.

Staff will be back on here after the weekend.
