The GUI for the Sagemcom WiFi router - why is it so poor?
It is slow, I can put up with that but it quits working on a whim; it just stops responding without any identifiable pattern so when you click on something to navigate around, while the URL in the browser address bar changes, nothing else happens and ulimtately you have to log back in again and hope you can navigate to where you want to be before it drops out again.
Hardware Version: FAST5364 3.00
Software Version: SG4K100208
GUI Version: 5.100.5

Thanks Chris - no I have not, I have been reluctant to do that because I would lose my settings (my SSID, DNS settings, port forwarding, DHCP-off) and one cannot back those up anymore but maybe I will take screenshots of everything sometime and do it.

Hi philwillg,
Have you tried resetting the router to factory default settings? If not then can you give this a try - Restore your router to factory settings - TalkTalk Help & Support
Thanks
Chris

thanks, reply #2 was in response to your reply #3 but for the sake of clarity; yes, I have yes - cleared cache and multiple browsers and different devices and operating systems. It does seem a little better on mobile (Android) but not perfect and it was always thus, to be honest, like, for years.

Hi @philwillg worth a try, tbh I've never found custom gui to be as responsive as say Asus or Draytek but that's a case of getting what you pay for.
Can we help more?

Hi @philwillg good news is you have the latest firmware. Have you tried clearing your browser cache, or even a different browser?
