Windows 11 laptop weak and dropping signal - Eero6

For the last 4 days the internet connection on my laptop has been very weak and regularly dropping out on my Eero 6 mesh setup.

 

I have 2 Eero 6', one at the telephone socket in the living room and a second in a neighbouring room to boost the signal.

 

Other devices are working ok and I haven't downloaded anything dodgy to corrupt that I'm aware of my system except 2 Windows updates.

 

The Hewlett Packard Network diagnostics say signal strength is 48% at best.

 

Talktalk are sending me another Eero but I have the problem when my laptop is right next to the main Eero so I don't think it's a coverage issue.

 

I've tried uninstalling the Windows updates but without success and tried deleting and updating Network drivers. I'm using  RealtekRTL8822BE 802.11ac PCIe adapter.

Unfortunately I don't have a restore point for some reason so can't restore to a precious time.

 

Has anyone got any suggestions?

Hi

 

Have you checked the Realtek website for the latest driver for your Wi-Fi adapter to make sure it is up to date.
