For queries about your TalkTalk broadband service.

I've received emails and a letter with the heading given above.
I am not on fibre broadband
It says
" To make sure you get the best service possible we're working on upgrading you to Fibre broadband, providing faster W-Fi speeds at no extra cost. You don't need to do anything as we won't need access to your home and you won't need to change your router"
It then goes on to detail changes including the loss of a few free Sky channels which doesn't bother me.
I don't know what mean by upgrading to fibre broadband if they are not accessing my home or changing my router. Possibly extending fibre to nearer my house before it is connected to copper?
Our current broadband is erratic to put it mildly and frequently drops out (though generally briefly)
Can anyone shed any light on what is going on?

Hi graham49,
It does sound as though you are having a free upgrade to fibre. I've sent you a PM to confirm some details so that we can access your account and take a look at this for you
