Your email does exist and its been limited as you weren't using the secure settings.

Hi Kate
Your mailbox does exist and Outlook 365 is capable of secure mail settings. Your incoming mail will not be received in Outlook but will be there in your mailbox that you can see via TalkTalk Mail webmail.
Select here: Sign in to TalkTalk Mail
Enter your full TalkTalk Mail tiscali email address and password, select Sign in.
Outlook 365 or another device, perhaps your phone that you're using had insecure settings for your mailbox and as a result the mailbox was restricted to webmail only access.
Ady asked you to confirm that you are using secure settings and I've given you in my first reply the TalkTalk guides to follow and if you'd like a definitive check of settings to use the offer is here to happily double check your screenshots of incoming and outgoing server settings for you.
You also need to add your email address to your Community profile private notes so that Ady knows which mailbox to authorise for full access.
There is something that I should ask and is the tiscali email address added to an active customer MyAccount? Any TalkTalk Mail email address not linked to an active customer MyAccount may be restricted to webmail.

Hi Gondola,
Thanks for responding. I am afraid I do not understand everything you are asking, but will try to respond.
Update details as you requested.
I am using Windows 11 and have 365 so don't think system or security is an issue. Also did not receive the messages on security which you referred to. I have used Tiscali mail address for 15 plus years, and it has been free. Got a spam message wanting £50 for March, which cannot be correct and anyway when I follow link, it doesn't work.
Not sure what my account number is. Deleted Tiscali address on laptop, though still have on phone and can log into web version.
Please help...I am desperate.

Hi Kate you need to post confirming that you've changed your mail client settings to match the secure settings we've sent you.

Please don't keep starting new topics. Looks like your mailbox has been restricted to webmail only access due to continued use of insecure settings in Outlook. What version of Outlook and what computer operating system?

Looks like your mailbox has been restricted to webmail only access due to continued use of insecure settings in Outlook. What version of Outlook and what computer operating system?
If you saw the message from TalkTalk advising "Our records show that you are still accessing your email using unencrypted email settings..." then the email address receiving that notification has now been limited to webmail only access. It's a last resort action by TalkTalk to stop the use of email connections not secured by TLS 1.2 encryption.
TalkTalk Mail webmail is secure by design when using an up to date Internet browser.
Select here: Sign in to TalkTalk Mail
Enter your full TalkTalk Mail email address and password, select Sign in. Check that you can compose and send and receive mail sent to the same mailbox address.
If your mailbox is limited to webmail only access for both sending and receiving mail, you will be able to get access restored to email apps or email software, including mail collection services, passwords will then re-authenticate, so long as you're ready to use supported email software and secure email settings for all the ways you view emails.
We can advise on device and software compatibility with TLS 1.2 encryption and provide customer setup guides. Just let us know each mail collection service, each device, its operating system and email software including version that are in current use.
For a definitive check of email settings take screenshots of the incoming and outgoing server settings, image edit to obscure the first part of the email address and upload here using the Camera icon (desktop browser) or Picture icon (mobile browser) above this reply area.
When you confirm the secure settings are ready I can request TalkTalk Support to restore full access. TalkTalk Support will respond here and access will be restored usually within a couple of working days.
Prepare for TalkTalk Support - include in the Community Profile (not in these public posts):
Email account holder name
Scroll down to Private notes to add the email address(es)
and TalkTalk or MailPlus customer account number
Check and Save changes
