I keep getting emails which claim to come from Talktalk telling me to verify my email account.  I have ignored them and forwarded to abuse@talktalk.  The latest says unless I reply my account will cease to exisit on 27th August.  I am worried that the notifications I have received may after all, be genuine... can someone help me please.

Hi Mary-Rose, if you've got an active account and the email is linked to it then your email addess wouldn't be ceased. Its a scam.

Please log in to My Account if you need to view or pay your bill, manage boosts and track your usage. From My Account you can also check your connection and test your line for any issues in the Service Centre.

Hi @Mary-Rose seems more like a scam, but why not create a new non tt email address and the auto forward to that?

I don't work here and all my opinions are my own.
