My old homecall email was deactivated a few months ago due to inactivity. However, I desperately need to reactivate it as I’m trying to log into my google account and the two-step verification email is going to that old homecall email. If I can’t reactivate this old homecall email then I can’t access my email, drive or any social media accounts. I’ve tried calling Talk Talk so many times and just basically said they can’t help me because I’m not a Talk Talk customer. I’m so desperate, I don’t know what to do. Any help would be amazing.

How are you getting on? Have you had time to carry out the checks I suggested?
You appear to have signed out of Community 2 hours after I replied so it would be good if you would sign back in to Community to let us know the outcomes of each of the checks.

Depends whether the homecall mailbox has been deleted or just suspended pending deletion.
Mailboxes are flagged for deletion if the user doesn't sign in at least once every 180 days. The help page Deleted Email error message explains more.
So first you'd check if the email address is still active. Send the email address a mail message and see if you get an immediate bounceback error message saying 'Undeliverable' that means the mailbox isn't active.
Then enter the email address at Verifalia, an external website that verifies if an email address exists. Enter the email address, complete the reCAPTCHA and select the Validate button. Does the top line response say 'Deliverable' or something else?
Finally, use the Reset password now button in the Help page Changing your email password to see if you get a deleted or no domain error message or if you actually do have password recovery options saved.
Let us know the outcome in each case.
