I do not have Broadband with Talk Talk and am happy to pay for the address. How do I do this I have already spent 2 and a half hours getting nowhere on Live Chat!

Does the TalkTalk email address already exist and that address just needs adding to your current MailPlus MyAccount? If so then TalkTalk Support can add that existing address to your MyAccount so long as the total number of mailboxes does not then exceed 5 in total. I can request that for you.
However, if you're asking about creating a new TalkTalk Mail mailbox address then that's not currently available to any TalkTalk customer.
TalkTalk temporarily removed the ability for TalkTalk Mail users to create and delete mailboxes during the upgrade phase of migrating mailboxes to a new cloud mail platform. The following message in customer MyAccounts is currently displayed although I appreciate that some MailPlus customers cannot login to their MyAccount due to a security protection feature.
Please Note - we have temporarily removed the create/delete mailbox functionality as we are performing some backend maintenance work on our email platform. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
