Having lost an iPad I decided to change the password on my TalkTalk email account.
I can still receive emails but I can't send any.
I've checked my settings according to the TalkTalk page - using Port 993 for incoming and 587 for outgoing.
My SMTP account is shown as "Offline".
When I try to save the Server Settings I get an error message saying "Unable to verify account name or password".
Any help would be much appreciated.

Update:
All seems okay now so I presume it was a problem with the SMTP server.

Update:
When I check my SMTP server list I see that all the TalkTalk servers are offline even for email addresses that I haven't yet changed the password so maybe it's a problem with TalkTalk although when I checked their server status page no issues were being reported.
