Hi, I was listed on BARRACUDA and RATS NoPtr Spam websites upon checking in mxtoolbox, I have had those removed myself but I cannot remove the listing on Spamhaus ZEN as they say it has been added by Talk Talk and I should contact my ISP to have it removed.

I have been having issues with email delivery, I run a few small business websites for myself and a small number of clients, Recently I have been experiencing major issues with email delivery, all the emails in question are set up with webmail using SMTP settings to connect with Gmail as client and have worked fine until recently

I do not have my own servers, I host all my websites elsewhere and no unauthenticated email sent from this IP address whatsoever, Myself and my clients only send estimates and invoices, we also liase with our customers, No marketing or bulk emails are sent! But we have been receiving Spam where I have taken the measures outlined below.

My website forms and comment boxes have been getting spammed so I have added Google Captcha to them and it seems to have fixed the issue with the spam.

I have removed most comment boxes on websites due to spammers, I have only left comment boxes on reviews pages to collect customer reviews.

I have blocked all countries apart from the UK to visit the websites in question

Below is the message from Spamhaus ZEN.

Outbound Email policy of TalkTalk Communications Limited for this IP range

It is the policy of TalkTalk Communications Limited that unauthenticated email sent from this IP address should be sent out only via the designated outbound mail server allocated to TalkTalk Communications Limited customers. To find the hostname of the correct mail server to use, customers should consult the original signup documentation or contact TalkTalk Communications Limited Technical Support.

Removal procedure

Removal of IP addresses within this range from the PBL is not allowed by the IP netblock owner's policy.

About The PBL

The Spamhaus Policy Block List (PBL) is an international anti-spam system maintained by The Spamhaus Project in conjunction with Internet Service Providers and is used by Internet networks to enforce inbound email policies. The PBL database lists end-user IP address ranges which should not be delivering unauthenticated email to any mail server except those provided for specifically for that customer's use. The PBL lists only IP addresses (not domains or email addresses).

Please remove my IP from Spamhaus ZEN, Being listed on there is triggering other Spam sites to list my IP and causing me a nightmare with email delivery for the last month or so causing me to migrate all my sites to a new host to try fix the issues, I have Spent a lot of time and money in the process.

I await your response, Thanks

.

TalkTalk is fine, when there are no issues, but getting issues resolved can be a real headache.
Incorrect information on TalkTalk help pages is unhelpful.

@Jonsey41

If you are a Talkalk residential customer, then you have a dynamic IP address, which you can change by disconnecting your hub (router) from the internet for about 10 minutes.

If you are a TalkTalk business customer, then you need to contact the support team for business customers, because this community support is for residentil customers only.
