cant send email

Hi I cant send emails from my computer or iphone from either of  talktalk email adresses (i can receive on addresses on any device).  It comes up with the message......is not a valid email address and has been rejected by the server his message has been placed in your outbox.  It does this if i try to message anyone

I have been doing more work on this and I am not convinced this is actually a TalkTalk issue. It looks like something has caused the SMTP mail server (outgoing emails) password to be erased in the email client. Alternatively, your email address can be reported as being incorrect.

Thunderbird is simple; putting the password back seems to have resolved the issue.

@emlou1, thank you for bringing this to our attention as I will firstly need to double check what browser are you currently using to accessing your emails. Thereafter, I will investigate this matter on my end. 🙂
