Since registering for talktalk plus I am unable to add second email address to webmail which work or add to accounts on client iphone.
I do not have a myaccount as i do not have broadband.

All seems to be working now on webmail and on iphones and ipads
Do I still need to be registered with TalkTalk plus for them to work as I do not have any other talktalk products

If you wish to use your second email address via webmail whilst waiting on full access to be restored you can.
Sign out of the primary email address first and then sign in to the other directly to its own mailbox. Or run two browser instances, one signed in to the primary email address and the other signed in to the other email address. A browser will support only one sign in at a time because the session cookies that help to maintain security will be for one sign in only at any one time.

OK. Don't forget to update your Community profile or TalkTalk Support will not know who you are or what email address needs to have IMAP access switched back on.

The iPhone, the iPad and Windows 10 Mail all support secure mail. Do you use any other email software on the Windows 10 laptop?
Windows 10 Mail and adding of the secondary email address in TalkTalk Mail webmail will work when IMAP access is restored to the secondary email address.
I've requested that full access is restored for the email address mailbox in your Community profile, Personal information, Private notes.
TalkTalk Support will respond here and access returned within a couple of days after that. Until then use TalkTalk Mail webmail via an up to date Internet browser to keep in touch with email contacts on your secondary email address.

I currently use three devices, iphone 13 ios 16.3.1, ipad ios 16.2, laptop windows 10
on all of them I can use webmail to access both the primary and secondary mailboxes individually without any problem.
When I sign in as the primary mailbox and try to add the secondary mailbox the message is "auto config failed" so I try the manual option which also fails. I have checked the server settings and they are all correct
When I sign in as the secondary mailbox i can add the primary mailbox ok except that it does not automatically populate the inbox.
I have updated the requested information in the community profile
The secure settings are ready, can you please restore full access

If the second email address does not get authenticated on any email client / email app or when trying to add to an existing webmail mailbox then that indicates it is limited to webmail access only.
If you saw the message from TalkTalk advising "Our records show that you are still accessing your email using unencrypted email settings, because of this you will no longer be able to receive or send emails via this email app or software" then the email address receiving that notification has been limited to webmail only access as a last resort action by TalkTalk to stop the use of insecure email.
TalkTalk Mail webmail is secure by design using an up to date Internet browser. Sign out of the primary email account by using the sign out icon top right (desktop browser) or cog icon and sign out menu item (mobile browser) and then sign in to the second email mailbox.
Select here: Sign in to TalkTalk Mail
Enter your full TalkTalk Mail email address and password, select Sign in.
You will be able to get email access restored to email apps or software including mail collection services, passwords will then re-authenticate, so long as you're ready to use up to date and secure email settings for all the ways you view emails. We can advise on device and software compatibility and provide customer setup guides. Just let us know each mail collection service, each device, its operating system and email software including version that are in current use.
For a definitive check of settings take screenshots of the incoming and outgoing server settings, image edit to obscure the first part of the email address and upload here using the Camera icon (desktop browser) or Picture icon (mobile browser) above this reply area.
When you confirm the secure settings are ready I can request TalkTalk Support to restore full access. TalkTalk Support will respond here and access will be restored usually within a couple of working days.

Email account holder name
Scroll down to Private notes to add the email address(es)
and TalkTalk or MailPlus customer account number
