My broadband download speed is registering as 3.3mb on the talk talk speed checker.
My contract says I should be getting a ‘guaranteed minimum of 8.6mb’.
How can this be rectified??

I'm sorry to hear this. I've run a test on the line now which hasn't detected a fault, however I can see that sync speed has dropped and I can also see some re-connections on the line. Is the voice service ok with no noise? Does your main socket have a test socket?

The sync speed is lower than it should be. All tests are clear. Can you power off the router for 3 minutes to start a new session, then I can test again.
