Hello.

I am having problems with webpages not loading. Sometimes they will load but other times not. This happens on many different sites I visit including TalkTalk's own site (as shown below).

Even TalkTalks own site!Even TalkTalks own site!

The problems started sometime between midnight and 9am this morning and the connection problem is affecting *all* devices (Smartphone, Laptop and a Media Centre) connected to the router.

I have run the various online tests but those report nothing is wrong. I have rebooted the router 3 times but the problem persist.

Could someone at TalkTalk please investigate. In the meanwhile I shall plug the router into the test port thereby by-passing the ADSL filter but from past experience I very much doubt that will solve the problem.

Thanks.

***** This isssue can be closed. It's the same problem as I suffered 12 months ago. Following that incident I purchsed a brand new 4 port hub which now appears to be doing the exact same - flooding the network. 😡😡😡 *****

Thank you, we'll add that onto the agenda.

And this is even more annoying because of the long-standing fault that Community notification emails do not show the edit but the content before the edit. @Lorrainef Another one for your upcoming team agenda.

Just looking at the edit you made to your original post, does that mean you no longer require assistance here?

TalkTalk Support will respond here and check from their end.

You managed to get a test done from My connection in your MyAccount and apparently that reported no issues so I assumed it was a problem with your connected devices and especially browser access.

Have you got another router to test with? If not TalkTalk can supply one for substitution testing.

Thanks but the Internet cache was cleared as part of trying to find a solution on the laptop, however this connection problem is affecting multiple devices, not just those with web browsers.

Some additional guidance for you: What to do if you cannot load websites

Clearing the browser cache is a good move, sometimes resetting the browser to default settings, if the issue was triggered by corruption of previously saved webpages or interaction with a browser add-on or extension like Internet Security scanning or Ad-blockers / tracker blockers / banner blockers.
