Fibre65 router issues

Hi

 

I am currently on Fibre65 and recently renewed my plan.

However, I have the old HG633 Huawei Router which has been causing me issues lately.

Both wired and wireless connections slow down periodically and I have to reboot the router to get back to anything like normal internet speeds.

Usually get between 50Mbps and 55Mbs but will drop to around 1.5Mbps, rebooting the router fixes the issue.

 

Is it about time I had a new router?

New router arrived, all working OK now. 

WiFi speed much improved.
