We have our OpenReach appointment on 6 June to move to full fibre, but we haven't received the new router yet. Should we have been sent it by now? We've not heard anything. Thanks.

I'm not sure Michelle as I didn't regularly check it. I plugged it in around midday and then tried it about 10m after that and it wasn't working. Then I tried it again about 16:00 and it was fine.

Thank you for the update. Can I just confirm, how long did it take for the digital voice service to work?

Thanks for your replies. It did arrive by post the day before. I think it would be better if that was made clear in advance and that the Digital Voice won't work immediately on plugging-in but takes a while to get itself sorted out.

It will usually arrive between 24-48hrs before the installation.

The router is often brought by the installation team on the day. Alternatively, it might be sent to you about a day or so before the installation.

From the 29th of March our TalkTalk Community will move to peer-to-peer support and the TalkTalk team will no longer be here to support with queries.
