Just got email about FTTP upgrade - I want to use my own Router

Ok, so what are my options?
The current TT router I have is a D-Link something or other that can't handle FTTP.
I've used Draytek routers a few times before so I'm thinking about one of them, but I'm open to suggestions. I want to buy one NOW that will work wih my current VDSL but will also work with full fibre 4 weeks from now. It must have VPN built-in.
Thanks in advance.

Morning,
Thanks for confirming. Is your connection also ok?
Thanks

To clarify this matter, it's a Sagemcom Fast 5464.

It will either be an eero, or a WiFi Hub 3, it should be confirmed at the time you order.

Can you tell me, or make a fair guess, what model the provided new router is likely to be?
Every router I've had before from Talk Talk has been hamstrung by them, and I'm not the type of person to sit still for that.

If you have signed up to Full Fibre you will get a new router along with the the physical installation of an ONT to your home. I would defer making any decisions on buying your own equipment until the service goes live.
