Hi
For a couple of days now I've been getting connection drop-outs...
I had this same exact issue a couple of years ago and an engineer was sent out and the issue was the outside overhead cables from the telephone pole to my house.
Are you able to test the line and if necessary book an engineer please ?
Thanks
John

Hi Biomechanic,
Could you leave the router connected to the test socket over the weekend and let us know on Monday if it's been OK
Thanks
Chris

Hi Debbie
Yes, no probs. I only have a router cable connected (no phone or filter)
This seems to have started when the bad weather in the UK started. I have also read numerous reports online of talk talk internet issues in my wider area.
So I'm hoping it's just that and will sort itself out.

Hi John
Would it be possible to remove the face plate from the front of the master socket and connect the router, phone and filter at the test socket over the weekend?
This will help rule out any potential issues with the faceplate or internal wiring.
Does the fault appear to be weather related and only happen in certain weather conditions?

Hey Debbie
I have a Master Socket 5C, so yes it's connected at all times to the master socket.
John
p.s. I have a sneaky suspicion that this might be a talk talk issue maybe connected to the weather as I'm seeing reports all over the internet of issues similar to mine

Hi John
I'm sorry to hear this.
The line test is clear - No faults detected.
Is the router currently connected at the test socket?
