New TalkTalk Wi-Fi Hub Firmware SG4K100208

Since the recent update to  SG4K100208 within the routers menu structure Maintenance -> Logs is now empty regardless of the logging criteria applied.

This was useful for monitoring when Wi-Fi Optimisation was kicking in, related channel changes and other general info.

Has anyone else experienced this with the move from firmware  *206 to *208 ?

Morning,

My colleague has advised that this is still under investigation. It's possible that this might not be a quick fix but we will keep you updated.

Thanks

Hi @gcotgreave

I'm sorry to hear this. Could you create a new topic so we can look into the dropping connection issue for you please.

Thanks

Mine too.

Also the router has started the regular 6second drop outs, which plagued a previous update. (SamKnows box constantly monitoring the line)

You can't check what is going on as there's no log to read!

Going to My Connection says all is fine!

 Hi @Anonymous

I have just had V208 on my 5464 & can also confirm that the System Log has been wiped.

Hi, @AldridgeAndy

Yes, I noticed this several days ago. From 206 to 208.

It didn't then affect  the Router Logs

Currently, it shows there are no entries in the log

I thought that it was nice that my old logs had been cleared.

On the other hand,  it might be as you suggest, that the Router Logs have been disabled.

This will have to be monitored.
